Ganduje’s administration in Kano is a failure —Spikin
By Abdulmumin Murtala, Kano
A leading member of the Kwankwasiyya movement in Kano led by Senaor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Hajiya Binta Spikin has accused the present regime of Dr Abdullahi Ganduje of performing below expectation.

She argued that the people of Kano hardly felt the presence of government while the state government has been insensitive to the yearnings of the people of the state even as she frowned at excessive taxes by the government.
“Currently in Kano the situation is that of people not feeling the presence of government due to lack of performance by the current regime when compared to the administration of Senator Kwankwaso” she stated.
She said that the state was being run largely in absentia as Governor Ganduje was always away most of the time unlike the time when Senator Kwankwaso was the governor and the people were so attached to the government that they contributed willingly to the development of the state.
Spikin also lamented the manner with which the state government dumped the educational development projects in the state introduced by Sen Kwankwaso which should have benefitted about 2,600 students.
She also said that a lot of social menace which Sen Kwankwaso fought against when he was governor, like drug addiction and hooliganism are now returning due to lack of political will by the current government.
